The Tigrus879 GoAnimate movie (alternatively titled The Tigrus879 Go!Animate movie) is a 2013 film created by semi-retired Vyondista Tigrus879. This was his first full-length film made solely with Vyond (then called GoAnimate). It is also the first film in the Tigrus879 GoAnimate Trilogy.

Link to the film could be found in the infobox.

Premise

A major Hollywood studio strikes a deal with a 14 year old Tigrus879, just a newcomer to the film industry at the time, to release a sci-fi romance mashup in the summer movie season. However, when Tigrus879 crosses paths with a formally dressed zombie, the two ultimately decide to pull pranks on strangers and fool around with one another. Lo and behold, the zombie turns out to be Mr. Keebler, the main antagonist of YouTuber Cayby J.'s critically panned "Go!Animate the Movie". Chase sequences and terrorist attacks ensue; complicating matters for the young, aspiring filmmaker.

Columbia Pictures Lady and MGM lion

This short was included with the film, playing directly after the credits. It centers on Columbia Pictures lady rescuing her friend, the MGM lion, from a now-psychopathic Eliza Thornberry (don't ask why). It's your run-of-the-mill "friend saves friend" story. It's really bad.

Sequel

Tigrus879 created a sequel months after finishing this movie. The sequel mostly took place in London and featured an array of new characters. The film Was Deleted When Tigris879 Left YouTube. The Film Production Rights Were Reverted to CMSMG Industries and newer Prints Might Plaster the Currency Brothers Pictures Logo.

Reception

The movie was well received within the GoAnimate community upon its 2014 re-release on the GoAnimate website (not surprising given the community's demographics and standards). Elsewhere, it was widely panned for its cringe-inducing humor, kindergarten level writing, poor editing, frequent frame rate drops, recycling characters from other GoAnimate films, basic storytelling, side plots bearing no connection with the main story, and jarring animation.
